I'm so glad I got to photograph Megan and Dewald's beautiful Stellenbosch wedding! It was a perfect hot Summers day and their venue De Ouwe Klok is situated on a farm with horses and donkeys and tall oak trees creating a canopy where these two got wed.

In December I got to meet this lovely couple! They were NEWLY engaged and so smitten with each other during the shoot and it was so great to get to capture those moments :)

I can't believe its already late December and as I'm sitting backing up my hard drives for the next 5 weddings coming up between 21 December and 4 January I started feeling a little sentimental about
    the year that was :)

Wow what a fun engagement shoot!!! Christine and Wesley were my fantastic models and we head into the forrest for their magical black and white styled shoot :) We couldn't have asked for a more stunning day...but we could've done with less bugs haha! We had to fight off the mozzies!

Meet Nadine and Graeme! They are a fun, adventuring-loving couple and on any given weekend you can find them enjoying time away and 4x4ing. In fact they came home from such a weekend away and straight to their couple shoot that we did in the Bo Kaap :)

Katie & Richard wedding | Cape Town

 

 I'm so thrilled to share Katie and Richards big day with you! It was a simple, beautiful, rustic elegant family affair :) You see, Richard is a farmer from Graaf-Reinet and Katie is one of three sisters in Cape Town, and it so happened that Katie's one sister knew Richard long before he met Katie. And so by fate they were meant to eventually meet :)

I had the best time taking photos of Caity and Dave at their engagement shoot that we did recently in Cape Town!! It was mostly spontaneous and silly and lots of fun!! My absolute favourite thing is when a couple doesn't mind being silly infront of me or the camera :)

Megan and Dewald couple shoot | Waterkloof

I've been corresponding with Megan via email for months now about her wedding thats coming up in December and about their engagement shoot and it was so lovely to finally meet her and her fiance Dewald! We took their engagement photos at Waterkloof Wine Estate and there was still snow on the mountains - such a treat!!

Meet Anke the cutest little one year old!

I had the privilege of meeting this little princess on her first birthday and we spent a part of it doing a family shoot in Somerset West. She is just the cutest thing and she loooooves the camera!! Can you handle that sweet smile :) Brother Estiaan loves smiling for the camera just as much. I told mom and dad, Irma and O'neil, to bring along his favourite toy to the shoot and Estiaan chose his prized remote control yellow Ferrari! Look out for it in the pics. 

Silke + Billy | woodstock, CT

I had the most awesome shoot in Woodstock recently with these two lovebirds! They are Silke and Billy and they're getting married in January next year and moi will be there to document the celebrations :) And I can't wait! If their engagement shoot is anything to go by then I know for sure their wedding is going to be amazeballs! (yes amaaaazeballs!)
