Hendrik & Sophie - Bishops Court

The intimate wedding of Hendrik and Sophie took place at the beautiful church at Nazereth House in Vredehoek. The couple put great effort into their wedding day details like the elephant hair wedding rings that they excanged, the picnic basket with snacks for their guests and Belgium chocolates and French champaign (Hendrik is from Belgium and Sophie from France). Sophie even had tiny hearts pedicured on her toes which looked great with her cream shoes!

I enjoyed the photos of when they took turns to phone their parents to tell them they had just gotten married in South Africa. They particularly loved Cape Town and decided that it would be the perfect place to get married.

We went to the Bishops Court after the ceremony where Hendrik and Sophie were staying to take a few photos in the garden. And a big thank you to the girls at The Last Word for referring the client!

Fatima & Naseem - Part 2

The second part of Fatima and Naseem's wedding was even more like a fairytale than the first. Fatima in her exquisite white dress with hand sewn Swarovski crystals on the bodice and sleeves and Naseem in his dark navy blue suit didn't look out of place in the beautiful garden of The Constantia organized through The Last Word. You could really see their love for one another come through in the photos. After the couple shoot in the garden we headed back to the Grand Ballroom at The Westin Grand where 300 members of their family and friends were waiting eagerly to celebrate their reception.

Their wedding cake was made entirely of white Lindt chocolate balls - simply divine!

View part one of their wedding on my blog HERE.
