Kim + Charlie Wedding | Franschhoek

This is a long overdue bumper post as I couldn't leave anything out - I just loved this wedding so much!!

This is the love story of Kim and Charlie the Englishman. Kim was born in South African and has been living in the UK since she was about 13, add some years later and this is where she met the man that won over her heart, which is fitting because Charlie is a cardiologist from the UK :) They decided to get married in South Africa (yay!) at the stunning La Petite Dauphine in Franschhoek. This meant that about 95% of the guests flew in from overseas to join in on the festivities.

Kim and Charlie had to organise most of the planning from the UK and on short visits to SA and I take my hat off to them because they managed to pull off such a stunningly, simplistically elegant wedding! Wow and the decor! Kim and Charlie did the decor and flowers themselves and I have no words as to how pretty it was - I think the photos say it all. Even the paper name place holders on the table were each individually written and personalised by the couple. Kim's dress was so beautiful and elegant and just draped so perfectly and she also did her own make-up! I loved all the details on the day - Kim's lucky penny she wore, Charlie's dad that wore a Freddy Kruger mask in photos randomly through the day (apparently its a family tradition hehe), the reception that was held outdoors with just a few fairy lights and candles, the crazy musical chairs game they played, the JUST MARRIED sign, Charlie and the groomsmen's crazy socks and of course the lovely couple.

Kim and Charlie are undoubtedly in love with each other and it is actually infectious to be around them as they are so warm and happy :) I hope you enjoy your photos!

Here's a link to the album on my facebook page for guests and friends to tag each other.

Below is a funny video compilation of their friends singing a song for Kim :)
