Katie & Richard wedding | Cape Town

I'm so thrilled to share Katie and Richards big day with you! It was a simple, beautiful, rustic elegant family affair :) You see, Richard is a farmer from Graaf-Reinet and Katie is one of three sisters in Cape Town, and it so happened that Katie's one sister knew Richard long before he met Katie. And so by fate they were meant to eventually meet :)
After about 5 years of dating long distance via visits and calls and skyping they decided to go travel overseas together. And it was there while they were exploring Nepal when Richard popped the question!
The two of them looked gorgeous on their wedding day!! I particularly loved the fun farm elements they incorporated with their Karoo style wedding, like the 2 windmills they brought with all the way from Graaf-Reinet along with hay bales and miniture wire windmills for table number placements!!
What you learn from meeting Katie and Richard from the first time is that they are truly meant for each other and they are such down to earth, natural and really beautiful people inside and out and it was such a pleasure to photograph them.
